Payne, Albert Henry
(1812 London - 1902 Leipzig). Englischer Maler und Illustrator, Stahlstecher und Verleger. Seit 1838 in Leipzig tätig, wo er 1845 Bürgerrecht erhielt. Gründete zunächst in Leipzig, später auch in Dresden den Verlag der Englischen Kunstanstalt, der umfangreiche Ansichten- und Galeriewerke veröffentlichte.
